Manhattan - Over 500 restaurants have benefited from themunicipal program to accelerate the processing of their permits, said yesterday in a statement municipal leaders.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Council Speaker Christine Quinn,reported that thanks to the “New Business Acceleration Team”launched in March 2010, new businesses shortened by two months of their license paperwork normally a six months.

“These two months are two months of wages and incomegenerated by each business,” said Quinn who encrypted in 546restaurants that have opened through this program, creating6.012 jobs, $ 9 million in taxes and $ 50 million in taxes sales.
